Light-gage corrugated steel pile shell has been a popular and dependable foundation system since its development in the early 1940s. CONTECH HEL-COR® Pile Shell has been used in soils of all kinds where medium-capacity friction or end-bearing piles are required.

Product Highlights: Piling

HEL-COR Pile Shell, made of corrugated steel, is driven into the ground using an expandable mandrel inside the shell. After the mandrel is withdrawn, the shell is filled with concrete, forming an economical, high-capacity, displacement-type pile foundation system.

HEL-COR Shell/Timber Composite piles are widely used where water tables are relatively high.
