| 1) | Project Consultation – The local CONTECH Project Consultant evaluates your needs. |  | | 2) | Design – Using state-of-the-art design procedures, your plate, precast, or truss structure is designed to meet any code, loading, or geometry requirements. |  | | 3) | Manufacture – Quality is assured through controlled conditions for plant-produced steel, aluminum, and precast products. |  | | 4) | Manufacture – The individual plates are corrugated and punched to produce the bolt holes for assembly. Then, each plate is curved to meet the shape requirements of the selected structure. |  | | 5) | Installation – Foundations are laid and assembly/erection takes place rapidly. Pieces are usually lifted into place with a crane. |  | | 6) | Finished Bridge – The completed bridge is attractive, economical, durable, and quickly opened to traffic. |  | The Plate Process
